Giulia Sciorati is an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI Asia Centre, for the China Programme. She earned a Ph.D. in International Studies with a dissertation on the international, domestic, and individual constraints to China's counterterrorism policy choices in Xinjiang from 1996 to 2017.

About the Event
The seminar will present current relations between China and Europe, discussing the impact of the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic on the image of Europe in China and China's policy of major European economies, together with the main challenges that will need to be faced in the short term. Particular attention will be devoted to the political ramifications of the "Comprehensive Agreement on Investment", especially with regards to the issue of forced labour.
The event will be moderated by Alessia Paolillo, the Head of European Guanxi's Strategic Communication Team. She graduated with honours both at her bachelor and master’s degrees in “Oriental Languages” at the university of Rome La Sapienza, she is now graduating in a second degree master in “International Public Affairs” at the University Luiss Guido Carli.
