Call for Submissions: EYPIC 2025 – EU-China at 50: Cooperation, Competition, and Shifting Paradigms

As the EU and China celebrate 50 years of diplomatic ties, we're thrilled to finally launch the call for the second edition of the European Youth Perspectives on International Relations of China (EYPIC) Journal, EU-China at 50: Cooperation, Competition, and Shifting Paradigms. The year's edition aims to assess the current state of EU-China relations through a broad lens – assessing the nuances that comprise this complex and intricate relationship.

Building off of the first edition of the journal, which set out to “explore different young European perspectives on the definitions, effects, benefits, drawbacks, and origins of strategic autonomy across Europe in relation to its engagement with China,” this year’s edition seeks articles that truly highlight the evolving and dynamic landscape of EU-China relations and reflect on the challenges, opportunities, and future direction of this multifaceted bilateral relationship.
