European Guanxi is delighted to co-host the Europe & Africa Information Session for the 2025 Yenching Global Symposium in cooperation with the YGS Committee.

Our mission is to deepen understanding of China and promote engagement by amplifying opportunities for China-focused discussions and firsthand experiences in China.
​
The information session introduces the Yenching Global Symposium, its application process, and first-hand insights from speakers who participated as delegates in the 2024 YGS in Beijing.
This event will be recorded and published on our YouTube channel to ensure that future applicants can also benefit from this valuable resource in the years to come.

A Fully-Funded Experience Hosted by the
Yenching Academy of Peking University
The Yenching Global Symposium (YGS) is an annual conference held since 2016. It offers a platform for emerging leaders worldwide to engage in interdisciplinary discussions on China-related issues. Each year, the YGS receives applications from over 120 countries, with a record-breaking 10,000+ submissions last year.

The topic for the 2025 YGS is 韧 Fortitude: Navigating the Tides of Change. The application process comprises completing an online application form, answering a video question, and a short essay. Successful applicants will enjoy a fully paid trip and accommodation at the Yenching Academy at Peking University. Early-Bird Applications close on 19 December 2024, 23:59 (GMT+8); Standard Applications close on 02 January 2025, 23:59 (GMT+8). About our speakers
Siana Kazi holds a bachelor’s from the Free University of Berlin where she studied East Asian studies. Currently, she is a Yenching scholar at Peking University with a focus on Business Management and East Asia.
